- Electrical Safety: Always plug the unit into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Ensure the voltage matches the unit's requirements (220-240V, 50Hz).
- Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface. Maintain at least 30 cm (12 inches) clearance from walls and other objects to ensure proper airflow.
- Ventilation: Ensure the exhaust hose is properly installed and vented outdoors to expel hot air. Do not block the air inlets or outlets.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the unit during operation. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities unless supervised.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Always unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your portable air conditioner for optimal performance.
3.1 Unpacking
- Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging.
- Check for any shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
- Retain the original packaging for future storage or transport.
3.2 Placement
Choose a suitable location for your air conditioner.
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 30 cm (12 inches) of clear space around the unit for proper air circulation.
- Position the unit near a window or door for easy exhaust hose installation.

3.3 Exhaust Hose Installation
The exhaust hose is crucial for expelling hot air from the room.
- Attach the exhaust hose connector to the rear outlet of the unit.
- Extend the exhaust hose and attach the window kit adapter to the other end.
- Install the window kit in a suitable window opening, ensuring a tight seal to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.
- Ensure the exhaust hose is as short and straight as possible to maximize efficiency. Avoid kinks or sharp bends.
3.4 Power Connection
- Plug the power cord into a grounded 220-240V, 50Hz electrical outlet.
- Do not share the outlet with other high-power appliances.
4. Operating Instructions
Learn how to operate your Inventum AC901 using the control panel or remote control.
4.1 Control Panel Functions
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button (◩): Press to cycle through operating modes: Cool, Heat, Dehumidify, Fan.
- Temperature Up (+) / Down (-) Buttons: Adjust the desired temperature setting.
- Fan Speed Button (⟳): Select fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Timer Button (◷): Set the auto-on or auto-off timer.
- Display: Shows current temperature, timer settings, and error codes.
4.2 Remote Control Functions
The remote control duplicates most functions of the control panel for convenience.
- POWER: Turns the unit ON/OFF.

- SPEED: Adjusts fan speed.
- TIMER: Sets the timer function.
4.3 Operating Modes
- Cooling Mode: Lowers room temperature. Set desired temperature using TEMP+/- buttons.
- Heating Mode: Raises room temperature. Set desired temperature using TEMP+/- buttons.
- Dehumidifying Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air. Fan speed is typically fixed in this mode.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling or heating. Select desired fan speed.
4.4 Timer Function
The timer allows you to set the unit to automatically turn on or off after a set period (1-24 hours).
- To set Auto-Off: With the unit ON, press the TIMER button. Use TEMP+/- to set the desired hours. The unit will turn off after the set time.
- To set Auto-On: With the unit OFF, press the TIMER button. Use TEMP+/- to set the desired hours. The unit will turn on after the set time.
4.5 Water Drainage
The unit collects condensed water during operation. It has a self-evaporating system, but in high humidity, the water tank may fill up.
- Manual Drainage: When the water tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an indicator. Turn off the unit, place a shallow pan under the drain port, and remove the drain plug to empty the water.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation in high humidity, attach a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain port and direct it to a floor drain or bucket.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your unit.
5.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the rear of the unit.
- Wash the filter under running water (warm, soapy water if very dirty).
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents.
5.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Drain all condensed water from the unit.
- Clean the air filter and allow it to dry.
- Run the unit in fan-only mode for a few hours to dry the internal components.
- Unplug the power cord and coil it neatly.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
6. Troubleshooting

- FL (Full Water): The internal water tank is full. Drain the water as described in Section 4.5.
- E1 (Temperature Sensor Error): Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug it back in. If the error persists, contact support.
- E2 (Coil Temperature Sensor Error): Unplug the unit for 5 minutes and plug it back in. If the error persists, contact support.
