2. Product Overview

The SevenFriday M2/01 features a distinctive multi-layered black dial with gold accents, housed in a rectangular stainless steel case with a black PVD treatment. It is powered by an automatic movement and comes with a comfortable leather band.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Winding

As an automatic watch, the M2/01 is powered by the motion of your wrist. However, for initial setup or if the watch has stopped, manual winding is recommended:

1. Ensure the crown is in its fully pushed-in position (Position 0).
2. Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up a power reserve to start the watch.
3. The watch will begin to run.

3.2 Setting the Time

To set the time on your SevenFriday M2/01:

1. Gently pull the crown out to Position 1 (the outermost position).
2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the time. The M2/01 displays time using three rotating discs: hours, minutes, and seconds.
3. Once the correct time is set, push the crown back into Position 0.

4.1 Reading the Time

The M2/01 features a unique time display system:

• The outermost disc indicates the hours.
• The middle disc indicates the minutes.
• The innermost disc indicates the seconds.

Align the current position of each disc with the fixed indicator at the top of the dial to read the precise time.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch:

• Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, lint-free cloth.
• For the leather band, avoid prolonged exposure to water, direct sunlight, and harsh chemicals. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then dry thoroughly.

5.2 Water Resistance

The SevenFriday M2/01 has a water resistance rating of 3 ATM (30 meters). This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, such as hand washing or rain. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5.3 Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and strong magnetic fields. A watch box or pouch is ideal to protect it from dust and scratches.

6.1 Watch Not Running

If your automatic watch has stopped, it likely needs to be wound. Perform the initial winding procedure described in Section 3.1. If the watch still does not run after winding, it may require professional inspection.

6.2 Time Inaccuracy

Automatic watches can experience slight variations in timekeeping. If your watch is consistently running too fast or too slow, ensure it is being worn regularly enough to maintain its power reserve. If significant inaccuracy persists, professional adjustment may be needed.
