Setup
Follow these steps to properly set up your AODELAN ZC-1 controller with your camcorder.
- Attach the Controller to your Tripod Handle: Securely mount the AODELAN ZC-1 to the pan handle of your tripod. Rotate the knob on the controller's clamp clockwise until it is firmly attached to the handle. Ensure it is stable and does not wobble.
- Connect the Remote Cord: Insert one end of the provided 2.5mm-2.5mm remote cord into the designated jack on the AODELAN ZC-1 controller.
- Connect to Camcorder: Insert the other end of the remote cord into the LANC terminal (2.5mm jack) on your camcorder. If your Sony camcorder uses an AVR jack, use the provided 2.5mm Female-Sony AVR adapter cable.
- Set Compatibility Switch: Locate the toggle switch on the side of the AODELAN ZC-1 controller. Set it to 'S' for Sony or 'P' for Panasonic. For Canon camcorders, the 'S' setting typically works.

Zoom Control (W/T Rocker)
The pressure-sensitive rocker switch allows for variable zoom speeds:
