3.2 Camera Installation
- Mount the Camera: Install the rear view camera at the back of your vehicle, typically near the license plate light or on the bumper, ensuring a clear view.
- Route the Cable: Carefully route the camera's connection cable from the rear of the vehicle to the front, where the monitor is located. Ensure the cable is secured and does not interfere with moving parts or get pinched.
3.3 Wiring Connection
The system is designed for simplified wiring using a single cable for both power and video signal transmission between the monitor and camera. Power is supplied via the cigarette lighter adapter.
- Connect Camera to Monitor: Connect the 4-pin connector of the camera cable to the corresponding input on the monitor's cable.
- Connect Power: Plug the cigarette lighter power adapter into your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter socket. Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input.
- Test the System: Start your vehicle and engage reverse gear (if applicable) to test the camera system. The monitor should display the rear view.
NOTE: This system is designed for 12V car use only.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On/Off
The monitor automatically powers on when the vehicle's ignition is turned on and the cigarette lighter socket receives power. It will power off when the ignition is turned off.
4.2 Image Adjustment (Mirror/Normal Image)
The camera supports switching between mirror image (for rear view) and normal image (for front view). This is achieved by cutting a specific wire on the camera cable. By default, the mirror image is not displayed.
- To enable Mirror Image: Locate the specific wire on the camera cable (refer to the diagram on the product image) and cut it. This will activate the mirror image display, suitable for rear view applications.
- To enable Normal Image: If the mirror image is active and you wish to use the camera as a front camera, cut the designated wire to switch to normal image display.
4.3 Parking Line Control
The camera may feature adjustable parking guidelines. Refer to the camera's specific wiring for controlling these lines. Typically, cutting another designated wire can enable or disable these guidelines.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Monitor: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor screen. For stubborn smudges, a slightly damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used. Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the screen.
- Cleaning the Camera Lens: Keep the camera lens clean from dirt, dust, and water spots to ensure clear image quality. Use a soft cloth and, if necessary, a lens cleaning solution.
- Suction Cup Maintenance: If the windshield suction cup mount loses its adhesion over time, wash the gel part with water and let it air dry. This can revive its stickiness.
- Cable Inspection: Periodically check all cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Ensure they are securely routed and not exposed to excessive heat or sharp edges.
