Setup

Setting Your Combination Lock

The cash box comes with a default combination of 0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:

  1. With the lock set to the default 0-0-0, turn the knob to the "unlock" position to open the cash box.
  2. Locate the small lever or button on the inside of the lock mechanism (often labeled A or B). Use two fingers (thumb and forefinger) to move this lever from position A to position B. Do not force it.
  3. While the lever is in position B, set your desired 3-digit combination by rotating the dials. Ensure all numbers are centered in the display.
  4. Once your new combination is set, move the lever back to position A. Your new password is now set.
  5. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your new code. Turn the knob to the "unlock" position to confirm it opens.

Troubleshooting

Cannot Open the Cash Box

  • Incorrect Combination: Double-check that you are entering the correct 3-digit combination. Ensure each number is precisely aligned in the center of the dials.
  • Dials Not Aligned: After entering the combination, ensure the dials are not slightly shifted before attempting to turn the knob.
  • Lever Not Reset (after changing combination): If you recently changed the combination, ensure the internal setting lever was moved back to its original position (Position A).

Lid Does Not Close Properly

  • Obstruction: Check for any items, especially in the money tray or the main compartment, that might be preventing the lid from closing completely.
  • Money Tray Misaligned: Ensure the removable money tray is correctly seated and not askew.
