3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation

- Locate the battery cap (9) on the digital display unit.
- Slide the battery cap open.
- Remove the white insulating tab if present.
- Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Close the battery cap securely.

3.2 Initial Power On and Zero Setting
After installing the battery, press the 'ON/OFF' button (7) to power on the caliper. Close the measuring jaws completely and press the 'ZERO' button (8) to set the display to zero. This ensures accurate measurements.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Measurement
- Turn on the caliper by pressing the 'ON/OFF' button (7).
- Ensure the jaws are closed and press 'ZERO' (8) to set the display to zero.
- Slide the measuring jaws to the desired position using the thumb roller or by hand.

To switch between measurement units (millimeters, inches, or fractions), simply press the 'mm/inch/F' button (4). The display will cycle through the available units.
