Operating Instructions

The Daewoo DJE-5659 Juicer offers two speed options for optimal juicing.

Juicing Process:

  1. Prepare fruits: Wash fruits thoroughly. For citrus fruits, cut them in half. Remove any large seeds.
  2. Ensure the juicer is correctly assembled and the safety lock is engaged.
  3. Turn on the juicer using the power switch. Select the desired speed setting (Speed 1 or Speed 2) based on the fruit's hardness. Softer fruits may require a lower speed, while harder fruits benefit from a higher speed.
  4. Place a fruit half onto the juicing cone and apply gentle, even pressure. The juicer will begin extracting juice.
  5. The juice will flow into the juice collection jug, and pulp will accumulate in the pulp container.
  6. Continue juicing until all desired fruit is processed or the juice jug is full.
  7. Once finished, switch off the juicer and unplug it from the power outlet.

Note: Do not continuously operate the juicer for more than 1 minute. Allow a 2-minute rest period between cycles to prevent overheating.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your juicer. All detachable parts are dishwasher safe.

Cleaning Steps:

  1. Ensure the juicer is switched off and unplugged.
  2. Disengage the safety locking arm and remove the lid.
  3. Carefully remove the juicing cone, filter, pulp container, and juice collection jug.
  4. Empty any remaining pulp from the pulp container and discard.
  5. Rinse all detachable parts under running water immediately after use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  6. Wash detachable parts in warm, soapy water using a brush for the filter to remove any stubborn pulp. Alternatively, place them in the dishwasher.
  7. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
  8. Dry all parts thoroughly before reassembling or storing.

Storage:

Store the assembled juicer in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
