3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and comfort. The BT-S3 is suitable for most full-face and half-face helmets that cover the ears.
3.1. Installation Steps

- Clip Installation: Install the headset clip on the side of your helmet. Ensure it is securely positioned.
- Screw Lock: Use the provided screw driver to tighten the screw lock clip, firmly attaching the clip to the helmet.
- Clamping Slot: Insert the main headset unit into the clamping slot on the installed clip until it clicks into place.
- Remove Lining & Fix Microphone/Earphone: Carefully remove the helmet's inner lining. Use the 3M glue or Velcro pads to fix the microphone and earphones inside the helmet, ensuring the speakers are placed directly over your ears for best sound quality.
- Fix Microphone: Position the microphone near your mouth for clear voice pickup.
- Socket Insert: Connect the earphone/microphone cable to the main headset unit's socket.
4. Operation
4.1. Pairing with a Mobile Phone

- Turn on BT-S3: Press and hold the power button on the BT-S3 headset until the blue light flashes.
- Enable Phone Bluetooth: On your mobile phone, go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth.
- Find and Pair: Search for "BT-S3" in the list of available devices and select it to pair. Once connected, the headset will indicate successful pairing.
- Music Playback: Click the power button once to play or pause music.
- Volume Control: Long press the '+' button to increase volume. Long press the '-' button to decrease volume.
4.2. Intercom Pairing (Two Headsets)
The BT-S3 supports intercom communication with other BT-S series headsets.
- Turn off Phone Bluetooth: Before pairing two headsets, ensure Bluetooth is turned off on your mobile phone to avoid interference.
- Enter Intercom Pairing Mode: On both headsets, long press the multi-function button (X) until both red and blue lights flash simultaneously. This indicates intercom pairing mode.
- Initiate Pairing: Click the power button on one of the headsets. The headsets will attempt to pair.
- Pairing Success: Once paired, both headsets will flash two blue lights simultaneously, and you will hear a confirmation tone. You can now use the intercom function.
- Switching to Music Mode: If you were listening to music on your phone, first click the power button on the headset to hang up the intercom. Then, you can listen to music again. To return to intercom, click the power button again.
- Saving Pairing Records: To save the pairing records of the headsets, long press the power button until the blue lights go out or you hear the sound of 'di'. This will turn off the headsets and save the pairing.
4.3. Intercom Pairing (Three Headsets)
The BT-S3 supports group intercom for up to three riders (A, B, C).
- Turn off Phone Bluetooth: Ensure Bluetooth is turned off on all mobile phones connected to the headsets.
- Enter Intercom Pairing Mode: On all three headsets (A, B, and C), long press the multi-function button (X) until both red and blue lights flash simultaneously.
- Pair A with B: Click the power button on headset A. Headsets A and B will pair.
- Turn off A and B: Once A and B are paired, turn off both headsets A and B by long pressing their power buttons until the blue lights go out.
- Pair B with C: Repeat the intercom pairing process: long press the multi-function button (X) on headsets B and C until red and blue lights flash. Then, click the power button on headset B to pair with C.
- Turn off B and C: Once B and C are paired, turn off both headsets B and C.
- Final Pairing (A, B, C): Now, turn on all three headsets (A, B, C). They should automatically connect.
- Initiate Group Intercom: Click the power button on headset A to talk with C.
- Switch Partners: To switch between partners, click the power button once or twice on headsets B and C.
5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the headset unit with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: The unit features an all-silica gel waterproof design, allowing use in rainy or snowy conditions. However, avoid submerging the device in water.
- Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, charge the device regularly. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
