  • Kettle Body: Stainless steel construction with a 1.7-liter (7.2-cup) capacity. Features a cool-touch handle and a sealed heating element.
  • Lid: Locking lid for secure operation.
  • Spout: Equipped with a built-in large strainer.
  • Power Base: 360-degree swivel base with a 2-foot power cord.
  • On/Off Switch: Located on the handle for easy operation.
  • Water Level Indicator: To monitor water volume.

Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its power base.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill Kettle: Remove the kettle from its power base. Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark.
  2. Close Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed and locked into place.
  3. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its power base. The 360-degree swivel base allows for easy placement from any angle.
  4. Start Boiling: Press the On/Off switch located on the handle to the "On" position. An indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the kettle is heating.
  5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will extinguish.
  6. Serve: Carefully lift the kettle from the power base by its cool-touch handle and pour the hot water.
  7. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, wait a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before pressing the On/Off switch again.
  8. Boil-Dry Protection: The kettle is equipped with boil-dry auto-shutoff. If the kettle is accidentally switched on without sufficient water, it will automatically turn off to prevent damage. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool down before refilling with water.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning helps maintain the performance and longevity of your kettle.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish.
  3. Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
    • Fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
    • Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
    • Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times.
    • For stubborn deposits, a non-abrasive descaling solution designed for kettles can be used following the product's instructions.
  4. Strainer Cleaning: The built-in strainer in the spout can be gently cleaned with a soft brush if necessary.
  5. Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the kettle body or power base in water or any other liquid.
  6. Storage: When not in use, store the kettle and its base in a dry, clean place.
