Control Panel Layout

1. POWER Button: Turns the unit on/off.

Setup

Powering the Unit

The MPC 19.4 can be powered by AC mains or batteries.

• AC Power: Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN jack on the unit and then to a standard wall outlet (110-240V ~ 50/60Hz).
• Battery Power: Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. Insert the required number of C-size batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.

Antenna Setup

For optimal FM radio reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

1. Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn the unit on or off.
2. Select Function: Press the FUN/EQ button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: FM Radio, CD, USB, AUX.
3. Adjust Volume: Rotate the VOLUME knob to increase or decrease the sound level.
4. Equalizer Presets: While in playback mode, press and hold the FUN/EQ button to cycle through the 5 available sound presets.

FM Radio Operation

1. Switch to FM mode using the FUN/EQ button.
2. Automatic Scan: Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button to automatically scan and save up to 20 available FM stations.
3. Manual Tuning: Press the PREVIOUS/TUNE- or NEXT/TUNE+ buttons briefly to fine-tune the frequency. Press and hold to scan for the next strong station.
4. Saving Presets: After tuning to a desired station, press the REP/MEM button. The display will show a preset number. Use PREVIOUS/TUNE- or NEXT/TUNE+ to select the desired preset number, then press REP/MEM again to confirm.
5. Recalling Presets: In FM mode, briefly press the REP/MEM button, then use PREVIOUS/TUNE- or NEXT/TUNE+ to select a saved preset.

CD Player Operation

The unit supports CD audio, CD-R, and CD-RW discs with MP3 format playback.

1. Open the CD compartment cover.
2. Place a CD with the label side facing up. Close the cover securely.
3. Switch to CD mode using the FUN/EQ button. The unit will read the disc.
4. Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button.
5. Skip Tracks: Press PREVIOUS/TUNE- or NEXT/TUNE+ to skip tracks.
6. Fast Forward/Rewind: Press and hold PREVIOUS/TUNE- or NEXT/TUNE+ during playback.
7. Repeat Function: Press the REP/MEM button repeatedly to cycle through repeat modes (e.g., repeat one, repeat all).

USB Playback

The unit supports MP3 playback from USB 1.1/2.0 flash drives up to 8GB.

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
2. Switch to USB mode using the FUN/EQ button. The unit will automatically begin playing MP3 files.
3. Use PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN, PREVIOUS/TUNE-, NEXT/TUNE+, and REP/MEM buttons as described for CD playback.

AUX Input

Connect external audio devices (e.g., MP3 players, smartphones, tablets) via the 3.5mm AUX input.

1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the MPC 19.4 and the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
2. Switch to AUX mode using the FUN/EQ button.
3. Control playback and volume from your external device. The MPC 19.4 will act as a speaker.

Headphone Use

For private listening, connect 3.5mm headphones (not included) to the headphone jack. The speakers will automatically mute.

Maintenance
