1. Product Overview
The ISOTRONIC Ultrasonic Mole, Vole, and Pest Repellent is designed to deter various garden pests, including moles, voles, ants, and snakes, from your property. It operates by emitting ultrasonic oscillations and vibrations through the ground, creating an uncomfortable environment for these animals without causing them harm. This device is animal-friendly, avoiding the use of poisons or live traps, and is safe for humans, beneficial garden animals, soil, and plants.
The repellent features a powerful vibration motor that provides an effective coverage area of up to 1250 square meters, making it suitable for gardens and larger fields. Its multi-frequency design transmits quartz oscillations between 400 and 1000 Hz at irregular intervals to prevent pests from becoming accustomed to the sound, ensuring continuous and effective displacement.

2. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up and install your ISOTRONIC pest repellent:
- Battery Installation: The device requires 4 x 1.5V D-cell batteries (not included). Unscrew the green cap from the top of the device. Insert the batteries into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity. Replace the green cap securely to ensure the device remains waterproof.
- Placement: Choose a location in your garden or field where pest activity is observed. For optimal effectiveness, place the device in the center of the affected area.
- Ground Insertion: Dig a pilot hole in the ground to avoid damaging the device during insertion. Carefully push the device into the ground until the green cap is just above the surface. Ensure the device is firmly planted to allow vibrations to transmit effectively through the soil.
- Activation: Locate the ON/OFF switch, typically found under the green cap or on the top surface. Press the switch to turn on the device. A subtle vibration or sound may indicate it is operating.

Important Note: After approximately 5-6 weeks, it is recommended to move the device(s) about 4-5 meters in the direction of the pests' escape route to encourage them to leave the area permanently and prevent them from becoming accustomed to the repellent.
3. Operating Instructions
Once installed and activated, the ISOTRONIC repellent operates continuously. The device emits ultrasonic vibrations and sounds at varying frequencies to effectively deter pests. There are no further operational steps required after initial setup.
- Continuous Operation: The device is designed for continuous operation to maintain a pest-free environment.
- Battery Life: A set of 4 D-cell batteries typically provides approximately 6 months of continuous operation.
- Weather Resistance: The device is 100% weather-resistant and designed for outdoor use, functioning effectively in rain and snow.

4. Maintenance
Minimal maintenance is required for your ISOTRONIC pest repellent:
- Battery Replacement: When the device stops vibrating or the effectiveness decreases, it is time to replace the batteries. Unscrew the green cap, remove the old batteries, insert new 4 x 1.5V D-cell batteries, and securely reattach the cap. This can be done without removing the device from the ground.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exposed part of the device with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris. Do not use harsh chemicals.
- Inspection: Regularly check the device for any physical damage. Ensure the cap is always tightly sealed to maintain its waterproof integrity.
5. Troubleshooting
If your ISOTRONIC repellent is not performing as expected, consider the following:
- Device Not Vibrating:
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed with the proper polarity.
- Replace the batteries with new 4 x 1.5V D-cell batteries.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Reduced Effectiveness:
- Pests may become accustomed to the vibrations over time. Relocate the device 4-5 meters from its original position.
- Ensure the device is firmly inserted into the ground. Loose placement can reduce vibration transmission.
- Verify that the coverage area (1250 m²) is not exceeded. For larger areas, multiple units may be required.
- Check for any obstructions in the ground (e.g., large rocks, concrete) that might impede vibration spread.
- Water Inside Device:
- Ensure the green cap is screwed on tightly and the silicone seal is intact.
- If water has entered, remove batteries, allow the device to dry completely, and then re-evaluate.
