5. Setup

5.1. Assembly

  1. Attach the microscope unit to the metal stand. Ensure it is securely fastened using the provided screws or locking mechanisms.
  2. Place the specimen stage onto the base of the stand.

5.2. Charging the Battery

The microscope has a built-in 2600mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Connect the device to a power source using the supplied USB cable. A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of continuous use.

5.3. Inserting the TF Card

Locate the TF card slot (Component 5). Gently insert the included 32GB TF card until it clicks into place. This card is necessary for saving photos and videos.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually labeled with a power symbol) to turn the microscope on or off. The 4.3-inch LCD screen will illuminate.

6.2. Placing a Specimen

Place the object you wish to observe on the specimen stage. Use the stage clips to secure slides or other flat items.

6.3. Adjusting Focus and Magnification

  1. Adjust the distance between the microscope lens and the object using the height adjustment knob on the stand.
  2. Use the Length Setting Roller (Component 2) on the microscope unit to fine-tune the focus until the image on the LCD screen is clear.
  3. The microscope offers 50x to 1000x magnification. Adjust the focus and height to achieve the desired magnification level.

6.4. Adjusting LED Lights

The microscope is equipped with 8 adjustable LED lights. Use the LED Brightness Controller (Component 6) to adjust the illumination for optimal viewing of your specimen.

6.5. Taking Photos and Recording Videos

Once your specimen is in focus, use the dedicated buttons on the microscope unit to capture still images or start/stop video recording. Files will be saved to the inserted TF card.

6.6. Connecting to a PC

Connect the microscope to your computer using the USB cable. The included PC software allows for streaming, recording, and taking accurate measurements of your specimens on a larger screen.

6.7. Menu Navigation

Use the Menu Button (Component 1) to access settings. Navigate through options such as Language, Date/Time, Screen Saver, Frequency, Format, Default Setting, and Version information.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Cleaning the Body: Wipe the microscope body with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device.

9. Troubleshooting

9.1. Screen is Black or Not Displaying an Image

  • Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged.
  • Check the LED brightness. Adjust the LED Brightness Controller (Component 6) to increase illumination.
  • Verify that the lens is not obstructed and that a specimen is correctly placed under the lens.
  • Adjust the focus and height settings carefully. Sometimes a completely out-of-focus image can appear black.
  • If connected to a PC, ensure the correct software or driver is installed and the microscope is selected as the active camera.

9.2. Unable to Save Photos/Videos

  • Ensure a TF card is properly inserted into the TF Card Slot (Component 5).
  • Check if the TF card has sufficient free space. If full, transfer files to a computer or replace the card.
  • Verify that the TF card is not locked (check for a small lock switch on the card itself).
  • Try formatting the TF card through the microscope's menu settings (this will erase all data on the card).

9.3. Image is Blurry or Unclear

  • Re-adjust the focus using the Length Setting Roller (Component 2) and the height adjustment knob on the stand.
  • Ensure the lens is clean and free from dust or smudges.
  • Adjust the LED lighting to eliminate shadows or glare.
