1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and proper installation and use of your Barkan DWH3.B Fixed Drywall No-Drill TV Wall Mount. This mount is designed for televisions between 19 and 65 inches, with a maximum weight capacity of 80 lbs (36 kg). It features a no-stud, no-drill installation method specifically for drywall, plasterboard, wallboard, sheet rock, gypsum board, or gypsum panel walls.

2. Safety Information

• Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 80 lbs (36 kg).
• Screen Size: Ensure your TV screen size is between 19 and 65 inches.
• Wall Type: This mount is designed exclusively for drywall, plasterboard, wallboard, sheet rock, gypsum board, or gypsum panel walls. Do not install on concrete, brick, or wood stud walls without appropriate alternative fasteners (not included).
• Connection Points: Always use all designated connection points for maximum safety and stability.
• Child Safety: The mount includes a Fall Proof system to prevent accidental disengagement of the screen. Ensure it is properly engaged after installation.

5. Installation Instructions

Follow these steps carefully for a secure installation. The installation process is designed to be simple and does not require drilling into studs.

Step 1: Attach Adapters to the TV

1. Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA pattern.
4. Attach the two vertical TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened.

Step 2: Install the Wall Plate on Drywall

This mount uses a no-drill method for drywall installation.

1. Determine the desired height and position for your TV on the wall. Use the built-in level on the finger-saving tool to mark the horizontal line for the wall plate.
2. Place the wall plate against the marked position on the wall.
3. Using the finger-saving tool, hammer the drywall arrow anchors into the wall through the designated holes on the wall plate. Ensure the anchors are flush with the wall.

4. Insert the screws into the anchors and tighten them to secure the wall plate. Use the finger-saving tool to hold the nails while hammering them into the wall through the remaining holes on the wall plate.

Step 3: Hang the TV on the Wall Plate

1. With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets.
2. Align the TV brackets with the wall plate and gently lower the TV until the brackets engage with the wall plate. You should hear a "click" as the auto-locking mechanism engages.
3. Gently pull the bottom of the TV away from the wall to ensure the auto-locking mechanism is fully engaged and the TV is securely mounted.

6. Operating Instructions

Once installed, your Barkan DWH3.B mount offers secure and stable TV placement.

Auto-Locking Safety Mechanism

The mount features a patented auto-locking mechanism that automatically prevents the TV from disengaging from the wall plate. This system uses angled and horizontal latches to secure the TV, providing enhanced safety without the need for wires or springs that could fail.

Lateral Adjustment

The design allows for lateral adjustment of the TV on the wall plate after installation, enabling you to perfectly center your screen.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and safety of your TV mount, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during installation or use, refer to the following common solutions:

• TV Not Snapping into Place: Ensure the TV brackets are correctly aligned with the wall plate and that no obstructions prevent the auto-locking mechanism from engaging. Apply gentle, even pressure.
• VESA Pattern Mismatch: If your TV's VESA backscreen connections are not compatible with the provided options, please contact Barkan support for guidance.
• Mount Feels Unstable: Double-check that all anchors and nails are fully inserted and all screws are tightened. Ensure the wall type is appropriate for this no-stud mount.
