2. Assembling the Phone

  1. Attach the Phone Stand: Align the tabs on the phone stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit. Gently push until it clicks into place. The stand allows for two different angles for optimal viewing.
  2. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled handset cord into the handset and the other end into the handset port on the phone unit (usually marked with a handset icon).

3. Receiving Calls

  • When the phone rings, the display will show the caller ID.
  • To answer, pick up the handset, press the Speaker button, or press the Answer soft key.
  • To decline a call, press the Decline soft key.

4. Call Management

  • Hold: During an active call, press the Hold button. The call will be placed on hold. To resume, press the Hold button again or the corresponding line key.
  • Transfer:
    1. During an active call, press the Transfer button. The current call will be put on hold.
    2. Dial the number of the party you wish to transfer the call to.
    3. To complete a blind transfer, press Transfer again before the second party answers.
    4. To complete an attended transfer, wait for the second party to answer, announce the call, then press Transfer again.
  • Conference:
    1. During an active call, press the Conference soft key (or similar, depending on configuration). The current call will be put on hold.
    2. Dial the number of the third party.
    3. Once the third party answers, press the Conference soft key again to join all parties.
