Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning correctly. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.
- Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
Troubleshooting
- Display is dim or not visible:
- Check if the batteries are low and replace them if necessary.
- Ensure the "SENSOR" switch on the back is set to "ON" if you desire automatic dimming/brightening. If it's too dim, try setting it to "OFF" and use the SNOOZE/LIGHT button for temporary illumination. - Clock runs fast or loses time:
- This can sometimes occur with battery-operated clocks. Reset the time periodically as needed. Ensure fresh batteries are used. - Alarm is too quiet:
- This model has a fixed alarm volume. If the alarm is not loud enough for your needs, consider placing the clock closer to your bed. - Alarm does not sound:
- Ensure the "AL.ON/AL.OFF/AL.SET" switch is set to "AL.ON".
- Verify that the alarm time is correctly set and that the AM/PM indicator matches your desired wake-up time.
