3.1. Physical Interfaces and Indicators

4. Setup

- Connect the 4-pin power adapter to the power input socket on the router.
- Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable power outlet.
- The router will power on automatically. Observe the PWR LED indicator.

- Connect your computer to one of the LAN ports (LAN1, LAN2, or LAN3) on the RUTX09 using the provided Ethernet cable. Alternatively, connect to the router's WiFi network using the default SSID and password (usually found on a sticker on the device).
- Ensure your computer is configured to obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP).
- Open a web browser and navigate to the default IP address: http://192.168.1.1.
- Enter the default login credentials (usually found on a sticker on the device or in the quick start guide).
- Follow the on-screen instructions for initial configuration, including changing the default password for security.

5.1. Basic Configuration
After logging into the web interface, you can configure various network settings:
- Network Settings: Configure WAN (cellular or Ethernet), LAN, WiFi, and DHCP settings.
