1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions before using this appliance. To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:

4. Operating Instructions

The Vornado 5303 features simple, base-mounted controls for ease of use.

4.1 Power and Speed Control

1. Plug In: Insert the power cord into a standard 110V wall outlet.
2. Adjust Speed: Locate the dial control on the base of the unit. Rotate the dial to select your desired airflow speed:
   • Low: For gentle, continuous air circulation.
   • Medium: For moderate airflow and cooling.
   • High: For maximum air circulation and rapid cooling.
3. Turn Off: Rotate the dial to the "OFF" position.

4.2 Multi-Directional Airflow (Adjustable Tilt Head)

The Vornado 5303 features an adjustable tilt head, allowing you to direct the airflow precisely where needed. Gently grasp the fan head and tilt it up or down to achieve the desired angle. The fan will hold its position once adjusted.

5.1 Cleaning the Grill and Blades

1. Unplug: Always unplug the circulator before cleaning.
2. Remove Grill: The front grill is removable for easy cleaning. Refer to the owner's guide for specific instructions on how to safely remove the grill.
3. Clean: Use a soft cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces. For the blades and interior, use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove accumulated dust. The grill can be wiped with a damp cloth.
4. Reassemble: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reattaching the grill and plugging the unit back in.
