Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Grinder does not start. | Not plugged in; hopper not locked; power outage. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Check that the bean hopper is fully locked into position. Verify power supply. |
| Inconsistent grind. | Burrs are dirty or clogged; incorrect grind setting for bean type. | Clean the conical burrs and grind chute as per maintenance instructions. Adjust grind setting to a finer or coarser level as needed. |
| Grinder is unusually noisy or struggling. | Foreign object in burrs; burrs are clogged with oily beans. | Unplug the grinder. Remove the bean hopper and upper burr to inspect for foreign objects. Clean burrs thoroughly. |
| Portafilter does not fit cradle properly. | Portafilter size incompatibility. | The grinder comes with cradles for 50-54mm and 58mm portafilters. If your portafilter is 57mm, it may not fit perfectly. You may need to hold it manually or use the grind container. |
