Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all receiver outlets and remote transmitters from the packaging.
  2. Receiver Placement: Plug each wireless receiver outlet into a standard 125V AC wall outlet where you intend to control a device. Ensure the wall outlet is easily accessible.
  3. Device Connection: Plug the light or appliance you wish to control into the grounded outlet on the wireless receiver. Ensure the device is switched to its 'ON' position if it has a manual switch.
  4. Remote Battery: The remote transmitters come with a pre-installed lithium metal battery. If the remote does not respond, check or replace the battery.
  5. Initial Pairing (Pre-programmed): The system units are pre-programmed at the factory. They should be ready for immediate use. Each receiver corresponds to a numbered button on the remote (1-5).
  6. Expanding the System (Optional Pairing): If you wish to pair additional devices or re-pair existing ones, refer to the detailed pairing instructions provided in the separate supplementary guide or contact customer support.

Operating Instructions

The STANLEY SK506 system offers simple control via the remote transmitters.

  • Individual Control: Each remote transmitter features numbered 'ON' and 'OFF' buttons (1 through 5). Press the 'ON' button corresponding to the receiver number to turn on the connected device. Press the 'OFF' button to turn it off.
  • All On/Off Control: The remote also includes an 'ALL ON' button to activate all connected receivers simultaneously and an 'ALL OFF' button to deactivate all connected receivers at once.
  • Operating Range: The system operates wirelessly with a range of up to 100 feet (approximately 30 meters) in open areas. Environmental factors such as walls, metal structures, and other wireless devices may reduce this range.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the receiver outlets or remote transmitters, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or immerse any part of the system in water.
  • Battery Replacement: If the remote transmitter's range decreases significantly or it stops responding, the battery may need replacement. The remote uses a Lithium Metal battery. To replace, open the battery compartment on the back of the remote, remove the old battery, and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
  • Storage: Store the system components in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
