Setup

Operating (How to Play)

Rolit is a game of strategy where players aim to have the most balls of their color on the board. Each player chooses a color (Red, Blue, Green, or Yellow) to represent them.

Game Objective:

To have the most Rolit balls showing your chosen color at the end of the game.

Taking a Turn:

1. Place a Ball: On your turn, you must place one of your Rolit balls into an empty space on the board. The ball must be placed so that it surrounds one or more of your opponents' balls, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, between your newly placed ball and another ball of your color already on the board.
2. Capture Opponent's Balls: Once you place a ball and surround one or more opponent's balls, you then rotate all the surrounded balls to show your color.
3. No Valid Move: If a player cannot make a valid move (i.e., cannot place a ball to surround any opponent's balls), they must pass their turn.

Capturing Rules:

• A line of opponent's balls is captured if it is bordered at both ends by balls of your color.
• This applies to any straight line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal).
• Multiple lines can be captured in a single turn if your placed ball completes multiple surrounding lines.
• Only the balls between your two balls are flipped.

End of Game:

The game ends when all 64 spaces on the board are filled, or when no player can make a valid move.

Winning the Game:

At the end of the game, all players count the number of Rolit balls showing their color. The player with the highest number of balls of their color wins the game.
