Maintenance

1. Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet to prevent water intrusion.

2. Strap Care

The nylon strap is durable but can accumulate dirt. To clean, gently wipe the strap with a damp cloth and mild soap. Allow it to air dry completely before wearing. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive scrubbing.

3. Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a quartz movement. When the watch stops running, the battery may need replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

4. Cleaning the Watch Case

Wipe the watch case with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the mineral crystal or case finish.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery may need replacement.
  • Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: If the chronograph hands do not return to their zero position after pressing pusher (C), they may need calibration. Consult a watch technician for adjustment.
  • Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, passing midnight will advance the date. If the date is stuck, try resetting it manually as per the 'Setting the Date' instructions.
  • INDIGLO Light Not Working: If the INDIGLO light does not activate when the crown is pressed, the battery may be low or depleted.
