Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). This rating makes it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports. However, it is not suitable for diving. Avoid operating buttons while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your watch, regularly wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, especially on the resin band and case, use a mild soap solution and a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one Lithium Metal battery. When the battery power is low, the display may dim or functions may become unreliable. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician or an authorized Casio service center to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Blank Display: Check if the battery is depleted. If so, replace the battery.
- Incorrect Time: Re-enter the Timekeeping Mode and adjust the time and date settings as described in the Setup section. Ensure the correct city code and DST setting are selected.
- Buttons Unresponsive: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, refer to the full module manual). If the issue persists, a battery reset or professional inspection may be required.
- Water Inside Display: If condensation or water appears inside the watch, cease use immediately and take it to an authorized service center. This indicates a breach in water resistance.
