Setup
Charging the Trimmer
- Ensure the trimmer is switched OFF.
- Connect the charging cable to the trimmer's charging port.
- Plug the adapter into a 220-240V, 50/60Hz power outlet.
- The indicator light will illuminate to show that the trimmer is charging.
- Allow approximately 8 hours for a full charge before first use. Subsequent charges may also take up to 8 hours.
- Unplug the trimmer once fully charged or when not charging.
Attaching and Detaching Guide Combs
- Ensure the trimmer is switched OFF.
- To attach a guide comb, align the comb with the trimmer blade and slide it on until it clicks into place.
- To detach, gently push the comb upwards and away from the blade.
Operating Instructions
Basic Trimming
- Ensure your hair or beard is clean and dry before trimming.
- Select the desired cutting length using the length adjustment lever or by attaching the appropriate guide comb. The trimmer offers 0.5mm, 1.5mm, and 2.5mm settings directly on the blade, and additional lengths with guide combs.
- Press the power switch to turn the trimmer ON. You can select between two cutting speeds.
- Hold the trimmer with the blade flat against the skin or at a slight angle, moving it against the direction of hair growth.
- Use smooth, even strokes.
- Turn the trimmer OFF after use by pressing the power switch.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your trimmer.
- After Each Use: Turn off and unplug the trimmer. Remove any attached guide comb. Use the cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blade and trimmer body.
- Oiling the Blades: After cleaning, apply a small drop of lubricating oil (supplied) to the blades. Turn the trimmer on for a few seconds to distribute the oil evenly. This helps maintain blade sharpness and prevents rust.
- Storage: Store the trimmer in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
