The Genie QuietLift Connect is a smart belt drive garage door opener designed for quiet operation and smart home integration. It features a DC motor with a steel-reinforced belt, making it suitable for garages attached to living spaces. Safety Information
WARNING: Garage door openers can cause serious injury or death if not installed and operated properly. Read and follow all instructions carefully.
- Always keep the garage door area clear of persons and objects.
- Do not allow children to operate the garage door opener.
- Regularly inspect the garage door system, including springs, cables, rollers, and other hardware, for signs of wear, damage, or imbalance.
- Ensure the Safe-T-Beam sensors are properly aligned and free from obstruction.
- In California, as of July 1, 2019, all garage door openers sold or installed at any residence must include a battery backup system. This model does not include a battery backup.
Setup and Installation
The Genie QuietLift Connect is designed for easy installation. A strong 5-piece rail system snaps together, and pre-programmed remotes are ready for immediate use.
Pre-Installation Checklist:
- Verify your garage door is a residential sectional door, weighing up to 500 lbs and up to 7 ft in height. An extension kit (sold separately) is required for 8 ft high doors.
- Ensure you have all included components: smart Wi-Fi belt drive opener, two 3-button pre-programmed remotes, wireless keyless keypad, wall control, safety sensors, hardware, and batteries.
- Gather necessary tools for installation.

Connecting to Wi-Fi (Aladdin Connect):
The integrated Aladdin Connect technology allows you to monitor, open, and close your garage door from anywhere using your smartphone. Follow the instructions provided in the Aladdin Connect app to set up your device.
Operating Instructions
Using Remotes and Keypad:
The system comes with two pre-programmed 3-button remotes and a wireless keypad for convenient access. Refer to the included quick start guide for programming additional remotes or setting up custom keypad codes.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Genie QuietLift Connect garage door opener.
- Monthly: Test the Safe-T-Beam system by placing an object in the path of the sensor. The door should reverse.
- Monthly: Check the auto-reverse safety feature. Place a 2x4 board flat on the floor in the path of the door. The door should reverse upon contact.
- Annually: Lubricate moving parts of the garage door (not the opener itself) such as rollers, hinges, and springs, with a garage door lubricant.
- Periodically: Inspect the belt drive for any signs of wear or damage. The steel-reinforced belt is designed for durability.
- Light Bulbs: The unit uses standard light bulbs. Replace them as needed.

Troubleshooting
