Product Overview
The Citizen Promaster Sea Aqualand is a robust dive watch built for demanding underwater environments. Its stainless steel case and durable polyurethane strap ensure reliability, while the blue dial and red/blue bezel provide clear visibility and a distinctive aesthetic.

Setup
1. Initial Charging (Eco-Drive)
Your Citizen Eco-Drive watch is powered by light. For optimal performance, ensure it is fully charged before initial use and regularly exposed to light. Place the watch in direct sunlight or under a bright artificial light source for several hours. The power reserve indicator will show the current charge level.
2. Setting Time and Date
- Unscrew the Crown: Locate the crown on the right side of the watch case. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it springs free from the case.
- Pull the Crown: Gently pull the crown out to the first click for date adjustment, or to the second click for time adjustment.
- Adjust Date: If at the first click, rotate the crown to set the correct date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 1 AM to prevent damage to the movement.
- Adjust Time: If at the second click, rotate the crown to set the correct time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set. The second hand will stop when the crown is pulled to the second click.
- Push and Screw Down the Crown: Once time and date are set, push the crown back into the case and screw it down clockwise until it is tight. This ensures water resistance.
Operating Instructions
1. Dive Mode Activation (Auto-Start)
The Promaster Aqualand features an auto-start dive mode. When submerged to a certain depth, the watch automatically switches to dive mode, activating the depth meter and logging dive data. Ensure the watch is fully charged before diving.
2. Depth Display and Rapid Ascent Alarm
- The watch displays current depth up to 70 meters. Refer to the dial markings for depth readings.
- A rapid ascent alarm will sound if you ascend too quickly, indicating a potential safety risk. Follow proper diving protocols.
3. Unidirectional Rotating Bezel
The bezel rotates counter-clockwise only. This feature is used to mark elapsed dive time. Align the bezel's zero marker with the minute hand at the start of your dive. The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.

4. Power Reserve Indicator
The power reserve indicator on the dial shows the remaining charge level of the Eco-Drive movement. Keep the watch charged to avoid interruption of functions, especially during dives.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch with a soft cloth and mild soap, especially after exposure to saltwater. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely. For the polyurethane strap, use a damp cloth to wipe away dirt and sweat.
2. Water Resistance
The watch is water resistant to 200 meters (Divers 200M). Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers underwater unless specifically designed for it (this model's pushers are screw-down for water resistance).
3. Eco-Drive Charging
To maintain optimal performance, expose your watch to light regularly. Avoid prolonged storage in dark places. If the watch stops, expose it to bright light for several hours to recharge. The watch has a low charge warning function (second hand moves in two-second intervals) and a power saving function.

Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: Ensure the watch is adequately charged by exposing it to bright light. If it still doesn't run, it may require servicing.
- Incorrect Time/Date: Refer to the "Setting Time and Date" section in Setup. Ensure the crown is fully screwed down after adjustment.
- Dive Mode Not Activating: Check the watch's charge level. Ensure the watch is submerged to a sufficient depth for auto-activation. If issues persist, contact customer support.
- Rapid Ascent Alarm Malfunction: If the alarm does not sound during a rapid ascent, or sounds incorrectly, have the watch inspected by an authorized service center.
