Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its base.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
  3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  4. Cord Storage: The power base features convenient cord storage underneath. Adjust the cord length as needed to keep your counter tidy.

Operating Instructions

  1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the MIN line or above the MAX line. The water level lines are located inside the kettle.
  2. Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed before placing the kettle on the power base.
  3. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base.
  4. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V 60Hz electrical outlet.
  5. Start Boiling: Press the one-touch illuminating ON/OFF switch down. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the kettle is heating.
  6. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically shut off once the water has reached a rolling boil. The indicator light will turn off.
  7. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water. The double-wall construction ensures the exterior remains cool to the touch, minimizing scalding hazards.
  8. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, wait a few seconds after the automatic shut-off before pressing the switch down again.

  • Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Interior: The interior is seamless stainless steel. For general cleaning, rinse with water.
  • Lid: The lid opens to a full 90 degrees, allowing for easy access for cleaning the interior.

Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance and taste. Descale your kettle regularly:

  1. Fill the kettle with a mixture of 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
  3. Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  4. For stubborn deposits, you may need to repeat the process or gently scrub with a non-abrasive brush.
