The Waterpik Sonic-Fusion SF-02 combines the benefits of an advanced rechargeable sonic electric toothbrush with the proven effectiveness of a Waterpik Water Flosser. This single device is designed to provide a complete oral clean by brushing and flossing simultaneously or independently, removing harmful bacteria and debris from between teeth and below the gumline.

Setup

1. Charge the Unit: Place the Sonic-Fusion handle onto the built-in charging base. Ensure the unit is plugged into a global voltage (100-240VAC, 50/60Hz) compatible outlet. The recharge indicator light will show charging status.
2. Fill the Reservoir: Lift the hinged lid of the reservoir. Fill with lukewarm water. You may also add your favorite mouthwash to the water.
3. Attach Brush Head: Firmly press a water flossing brush head onto the handle.

Operating Instructions

The Waterpik Sonic-Fusion offers three cleaning modes: Brush, Floss, and Brush+Floss. It also features 10 advanced water pressure settings for a customized cleaning experience.

Modes of Operation:

• Brush Mode: For sonic brushing only. Apply toothpaste to the brush head.
• Floss Mode: For water flossing only.
• Brush+Floss Mode: Combines sonic brushing and water flossing simultaneously.

Using the Device:

1. Select Pressure Setting: Adjust the advanced water pressure control dial to your preferred cleaning level (1-10).
2. Position Brush Head: Place the brush head in your mouth, aiming the bristles at the gumline.
3. Activate Mode: Press the desired mode button (Brush, Floss, or both).
4. Brush and Floss: Guide the brush head along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth to allow the water to clean effectively. The 2-minute timer with 30-second pacer will guide you through brushing each quadrant of your mouth.
5. On-the-Go Brushing: The handle can be detached from the hose for brushing without the water flosser function. Push the round button on the back of the power handle to disconnect.

Maintenance

• Rinsing After Mouthwash: If you use mouthwash in the reservoir, always rinse the unit thoroughly with plain water afterward to prevent buildup.
• Charging: For optimal performance, keep the toothbrush handle in the charging base when not in use.
• Reactivating Handle: If the handle is removed from the base for more than 10 minutes, return it to the base briefly to re-activate the water flossing function.
