1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the CleanMaxx 1463 4.8V Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner. This manual provides important information regarding the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your new appliance. Please read these instructions carefully before first use and keep them for future reference.

2. Safety Instructions

Always observe basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

  • Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
  • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the handheld vacuum cleaner. This ensures optimal battery performance and longevity.

  2. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and then plug it into a suitable wall outlet.

4.2 Attaching Accessories

  • Crevice Tool: Ideal for reaching tight spaces, corners, and edges. Simply push the crevice tool firmly onto the suction nozzle until it clicks into place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

To turn the vacuum cleaner on, slide the power switch to the "ON" position. To turn it off, slide the switch to the "OFF" position.

5.2 General Vacuuming

Hold the vacuum cleaner by the handle and guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. For best results, move the vacuum slowly and steadily.

5.3 Emptying the Dust Container

For optimal suction performance, empty the dust container regularly, especially after each significant use.

  1. Ensure the vacuum cleaner is turned off.
  2. Locate the dust container release button or latch, usually near the nozzle.
  3. Press the release button and carefully detach the dust container from the main unit.
  4. Hold the dust container over a waste bin and open its lid or flap to empty the collected debris.
  5. Reattach the dust container to the main unit, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

6.1 Cleaning the Filter
