4. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar lights:

  • Clean the Solar Panel: Regularly wipe the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, snow, or debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and efficient charging.
  • Battery Care: The lights use a NiMH battery. While designed for durability, extreme temperatures can affect battery life. If storing the lights for an extended period, ensure the battery is fully charged and store in a cool, dry place.
  • Waterproof Rating: The lights are IP65 waterproof, meaning they are protected against dust and low-pressure water jets. While suitable for outdoor weather, avoid submerging the solar panel or lights in water.
  • Wire Inspection: Periodically check the wiring for any signs of damage, fraying, or loose connections. Handle the light string gently during installation and removal to prevent damage.
