Setup

Mounting the Unit:

The TKS1-WH is designed for under-cabinet installation. A mounting kit is included.

1. Select a suitable location under a kitchen cabinet, ensuring it is away from heat sources and allows for proper ventilation.
2. Position the mounting plate against the underside of the cabinet where you intend to install the radio. Mark the screw holes.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
4. Attach the mounting plate using the provided screws and spacers. Ensure the spacers are used to create a gap between the radio and the cabinet for heat dissipation and proper fit.
5. Slide the TKS1-WH unit onto the mounted plate until it clicks securely into place.

Power Connection:

Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the unit, then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The unit will power on or enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Press the Power Button (⑁) to turn the unit on or off.

Setting the Clock:

1. In standby mode, press and hold the RESET/MODE button until the hour digits flash.
2. Use the Tun.-/◀◀ or Tun.+/▶▶ buttons to adjust the hour.
3. Press RESET/MODE again to confirm the hour and move to minute setting.
4. Use the Tun.-/◀◀ or Tun.+/▶▶ buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press RESET/MODE to save the time.

FM Radio Operation:

1. Press the RESET/MODE button repeatedly until 'FM' appears on the display.
2. Manual Tuning: Use the Tun.-/◀◀ or Tun.+/▶▶ buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
3. Automatic Scan: Press and hold the AMS/TIMER button to automatically scan and store available FM stations as presets. The unit can store up to 20 presets.
4. Recalling Presets: Press the PRE-MEM button to cycle through stored stations.

Bluetooth Pairing:

1. Press the RESET/MODE button repeatedly until 'BT' appears on the display. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select 'TKS1-WH' from the list of devices.

Hands-Free Calling:

• Answering a Call: When a call comes in, press the ▶/▌▌ button to answer.
• Ending a Call: Press the ▶/▌▌ button again to end the call.
• Rejecting a Call: Press and hold the ▶/▌▌ button to reject an incoming call.
• Speak towards the built-in microphone (MIC) on the unit.

Alarm and Timer Functions:

• Setting the Alarm: Press and hold the ALARM button. Use the Tun.-/◀◀ or Tun.+/▶▶ buttons to set the alarm time. Press ALARM to confirm. You can choose to wake to FM radio or a buzzer.

LED Work Surface Lighting:
