4. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your Steam & Go Garment Steamer and Iron:

  1. Attach Telescopic Poles: Insert the two adjustable telescopic poles into the designated slots on the base unit. Ensure they are securely locked in place.
  2. Install Hanger Mount: Slide the hanger mount onto the top of the telescopic poles.
  3. Attach Clothing Hanger: Secure the clothing hanger to the hanger mount.
  4. Mount Ironing Board: Attach the ironing board to the telescopic poles using the provided mounting board and screws. Ensure it is stable and level.
  5. Place Iron Holder: Position the iron holder on the side of the unit for convenient storage of the steam iron.
  6. Connect Steam Iron: Connect the steam iron hose to the steam outlet on the base unit. Ensure a tight connection.

5. Operating Your Garment Steamer and Iron

5.1 Filling the Water Tank

  1. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and cool.
  2. Remove the water tank cap from the base unit.
  3. Using the provided measuring cup and funnel, carefully fill the 1-liter water tank with distilled or demineralized water. Do not overfill.
  4. Securely replace the water tank cap.

5.2 Steaming Garments

  1. Hang the garment on the clothing hanger or place it on the ironing board.
  2. Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Press the ON/OFF foot pedal to power on the unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Allow the unit to heat up until steam is consistently produced (approximately 45 seconds).
  5. Adjust the thermostat control on the iron handle to your desired steam intensity.
  6. Hold the steam iron head a few inches from the fabric and move it in a downward motion. For stubborn wrinkles, gently press the iron head against the fabric.
  7. Use the nylon brush attachment for thicker fabrics or to remove lint.

5.3 Ironing Garments

  1. Place the garment flat on the integrated ironing board.
  2. Ensure the unit is powered on and heated.
  3. Use the steam iron as you would a traditional iron, pressing it against the fabric on the ironing board.
  4. Adjust steam intensity as needed using the thermostat control.
