5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HyperGear Quake speaker, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speaker's exterior. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure all ports are sealed and the speaker is completely dry before use. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Water Resistance: The speaker has an IPX4 rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure the port cover is securely closed before exposure to water.
- Battery Care: To preserve battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
