4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly of the SHW Commercial-Grade Office Computer Desk is designed to be straightforward, typically taking less than 15 minutes. An Allen wrench is provided for assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Crossbars to Leg Frames: Connect the front and rear crossbars to the left and right leg frames using the provided screws. Ensure the holes align correctly. Do not fully tighten screws yet.
- Attach Desk Top: Carefully place the desk top onto the assembled frame, aligning the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desk top with the holes on the leg frames and crossbars.
- Secure All Screws: Once all components are aligned, fully tighten all screws using the provided Allen wrench. Ensure all connections are firm and secure.
- Insert Grommet Covers: Place the two grommet covers into the cable management openings on the desk top. These covers are designed to snap apart into three pieces for easy wire routing.
- Adjust Leveling Glides: Turn the desk upright. Adjust the leveling glides located at the bottom of each leg frame to ensure the desk is stable and does not wobble on uneven surfaces.
