3.1 Key Components

  • Camera Head: A 23mm diameter camera with a 1/3 inch CMOS sensor, 1000 TVL HD resolution, and a 140-degree view angle. It features 12 adjustable LED lights for illumination and is constructed from IP68 waterproof 304 stainless steel with sapphire glass.
  • Cable: A 100ft (30m) semi-rigid cable, designed for navigating various pipe configurations. It is wound on a portable reel for easy deployment and retrieval.

4. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your inspection camera for use.

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

  1. Carefully remove all components from the portable aluminum case.
  2. Inspect all parts for any visible damage. If any component is damaged, do not proceed with setup and contact customer support.

4.2 Charging the Battery

  1. Connect the DC 12V charger to the charging port on the control box.
  2. Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. A full charge typically takes several hours. The battery indicator on the control box will show charging status.

4.3 Inserting the SD Card

  1. Locate the SD card slot on the control box.
  2. Insert the provided 8GB SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.

4.4 Connecting Components

  1. Connect the camera head to the end of the 100ft cable. Ensure a secure connection.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable reel to the designated port on the control box.
  3. Connect the 7-inch LCD monitor to the video output port on the control box.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  1. To power on, press and hold the power button on the control box until the monitor displays an image.

5.3 Recording Video and Capturing Images

  1. Ensure an SD card is properly inserted.
  2. To start video recording, press the 'Record' button on the control box. A recording indicator will appear on the monitor. Press 'Record' again to stop.
  3. To capture a still image, press the 'Photo' button on the control box.

5.4 Viewing Playback

Recorded videos and images can be reviewed directly on the 7-inch monitor using the playback controls on the control box, or by transferring the SD card to a computer.

5.5 Navigating Pipes

  1. Carefully feed the camera head and cable into the pipe.
  2. Use the portable reel to manage the cable length. To release the cable, ensure it is kept inside the hook on the reel. To coil the cable, rotate the reel handle.
  3. Observe the monitor for real-time footage.
  4. Important Note: Avoid bending the cable at sharp 90-degree angles, as this can damage the cable. The camera is designed to navigate 90-degree bends in pipes as small as 45mm (2 inches) in diameter, provided the bend is not excessively sharp or restrictive.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Camera Head
