Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. If you lack experience with car stereo wiring, it is highly recommended to seek professional assistance.

General Installation Tips:

  • The car stereo fits a universal double din car radio opening size of approximately (L)178 x (H)100 mm / 7 x 3.93 inches.
  • Some vehicles may require a dash kit or a special wire harness for complete installation.
  • The suitable power supply is DC 12V. Always cut off the car's power supply before connecting any wires during installation.

Wiring Instructions:

To avoid issues like no sound after installation, ensure correct wiring:

  • Power Connection: Connect the red and yellow wires from the power harness to a constant (+)12V power source. Connect the black wire to the (-)12V negative power source.
  • Amplifier/Subwoofer Connection: If connecting an external amplifier or subwoofer, connect the blue cable from the amplifier/subwoofer to the ACC wire (red cable in the provided wiring diagram) on the car stereo's wire harness.
  • Speaker Cables: Connect each set of speaker cables (of the same color) to the positive and negative poles of the corresponding speaker. Ensure that no speaker wires touch any metal surfaces, as this can cause short circuits.

Backup Camera Installation:

The included backup camera simplifies parking and reversing. Follow the diagram for proper connection:

  • Connect the camera's video cable to the CVBSIN input on the car stereo.
  • Connect the camera's power wire (red) to the reversing light's positive (+) terminal.
  • Connect the camera's ground wire (black) to the reversing light's negative (-) terminal.
  • Ensure the trigger line (usually a thin red wire integrated with the RCA cable) is connected to the car's reverse light signal, which will automatically switch the stereo to parking mode when reverse gear is engaged.

Troubleshooting

No Sound Problem After Installation:

If you experience no sound after installing the car stereo, consider the following:

  • Equipment Connection: If you are connecting a car amplifier or subwoofer, ensure the blue cable from the amplifier/subwoofer is correctly connected to the ACC wire (red cable in the wiring diagram) on the car stereo's wire harness.
  • Speaker Cable Check: Verify that each set of speaker cables (positive and negative) is correctly connected to its respective speaker. Crucially, ensure that the speaker wires do not touch any metal surfaces, as this can cause a short circuit and prevent sound output.
  • Fuse Check: A wrong connection or operation might have blown a fuse. Check the fuses related to the car stereo's power supply.
