4.1. Front Panel

  • Projection Lens: Projects the image onto the screen.
  • Focus Ring: Adjusts the clarity of the projected image.

4.2. Rear Panel / Side Panel

  • HDMI Input: Connects to devices like Blu-ray players, gaming consoles, or laptops for high-definition video and audio.

4.3. Remote Control

5. Setup

5.1. Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface or mount it to the ceiling. Ensure there is adequate space around the projector for ventilation. The projector can project an image up to 150 inches diagonally in dark environments.

5.2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the projector's power input.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

5.3. Connecting Devices

The RPJ104 supports various input sources:

  • HDMI: For high-definition video and audio from devices like laptops, game consoles, or streaming sticks. The projector supports up to 1080p resolution via HDMI.
  • USB: For playing media files directly from a USB flash drive.
  • VGA: For connecting older computers or laptops.
  • Bluetooth: The projector is equipped with a Bluetooth transmitter, allowing you to connect to Bluetooth-enabled audio devices such as speakers or headphones for enhanced sound.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

  • Press the Power button on the projector or remote control to turn the unit on.
  • Press the Power button again to turn the unit off.

6.2. Adjusting Focus

Rotate the focus ring on the front of the projector until the image appears clear and sharp on the screen.

6.3. Selecting Input Source

Press the Source button on the remote control or projector to cycle through available input sources (HDMI, USB, VGA, etc.).

6.4. Menu Navigation

Press the Menu button on the remote to access the projector's settings. Use the arrow keys to navigate and the OK button to confirm selections.

6.5. Audio Output

The projector has built-in stereo speakers. For enhanced audio, connect external speakers via the 3.5mm audio output or pair Bluetooth speakers using the projector's Bluetooth function.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning the Lens

Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.

7.2. Cleaning the Casing

Wipe the projector's casing with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth.

7.3. Ventilation

Ensure the ventilation openings are clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating. Do not spray cleaning liquids directly into the vents.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Projector fan is loud
  • This is normal operation for cooling. Ensure ventilation openings are not blocked.
  • Place the projector in an area with good airflow.
Remote control not working
  • Check and replace batteries if necessary.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the projector's IR receiver.
