6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Charging Batteries
- Power On: Ensure the charger is connected to an AC power source and turn on the main power switch located on the rear panel. The "AC Power" LED indicator on the front panel will illuminate.
- Attach Batteries: Mount one or two V-mount batteries onto the charger as described in the Setup section.
- Monitor Charging Status:
The "Charging state" LED indicators (one for each battery slot) will illuminate to show that charging is in progress. The charger intelligently manages the charging process:
- For batteries up to 6.6Ah, it delivers 2.5A to twin cells simultaneously.
- For batteries with 8.8Ah capacities or more, it ramps up power to 5A, typically charging sequentially.
Once a battery is fully charged, its corresponding "Charging state" LED will turn off, and the "Battery online" LED may illuminate if the battery is ready for discharge or power output.

6.2. Using as a Power Station (DC Output)
The charger can supply power to external devices via its 4-pin XLR DC output, even while charging batteries.
- Connect Device: Connect a compatible device (e.g., camera, monitor) to the 4-pin XLR DC output port on the front panel using the provided XLR cable.
- Power Output: The charger will provide 16.7V, 4.5A when connected to AC power, or 15V, 4.0A when operating solely on attached batteries. The "Discharging state" LED will illuminate when power is being drawn from the batteries.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation grilles are clear of dust and obstructions to prevent overheating.
