2. Safety Instructions
- Ensure the power adapter voltage matches your local power supply.
- Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Insert the DC plug of the supplied power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.
5.2 Battery Backup (Optional)
The unit requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) for time and alarm settings backup during a power outage. These batteries do not power the unit for normal operation.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting the Time
- In standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button. The hour digits will flash.
- Press the HOUR/TUN+ button repeatedly to set the hour.
- Press the MIN/TUN- button repeatedly to set the minute.
- Press TIME SET again to confirm and exit time setting mode.
6.2 Setting the Alarm
The Lenco CR-12 has two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).
- Press and hold the AL.SET button. 'AL1' will appear on the display, and the hour digits will flash.
- Press HOUR/TUN+ to set the alarm hour.
- Press MIN/TUN- to set the alarm minute.
- Press AL.SET again to select the alarm source: 'BU' (Buzzer) or 'RD' (Radio). Use HOUR/TUN+ or MIN/TUN- to toggle.
- Press AL.SET a third time to confirm Alarm 1 settings.
- To set Alarm 2, repeat steps 1-5. 'AL2' will appear after 'AL1'.
6.3 Activating/Deactivating Alarm
- Press the AL.SET button briefly (do not hold) to cycle through alarm modes: Alarm 1 ON, Alarm 2 ON, Alarm 1 & 2 ON, Alarms OFF.
- The corresponding alarm icon (1 or 2) will appear on the display when active.
6.4 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after this period.
6.5 Stopping the Alarm
To stop the alarm completely, press any button other than SNOOZE/LIGHT. The alarm will reset for the next day.
6.6 Radio Operation
- Press the POWER button to turn on the radio.
- Press HOUR/TUN+ or MIN/TUN- briefly to manually tune the frequency. Press and hold for automatic scanning to the next available station.
- Adjust volume using the M-VOL button.
- To save a station preset: While listening to a station, press and hold the MEMORY button. 'P01' will flash. Use HOUR/TUN+ or MIN/TUN- to select a preset number (P01-P10). Press MEMORY again to save.
- To recall a preset station: Press the MEMORY button briefly to cycle through saved stations.
- Press the POWER button again to turn off the radio.
6.7 Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.
- While the radio is playing, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep times (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The selected sleep time will appear on the display. The radio will turn off automatically after the set time.
6.8 Night Light
The Lenco CR-12 features a built-in night light.
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button briefly (do not hold) to turn the night light ON.
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button again to turn the night light OFF.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surfaces of the unit.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
7.2 Storage
- If the unit is not used for an extended period, unplug it from the power source.
- Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
