Assembly Instructions
While the dresser is designed for straightforward assembly, it is recommended to have two people for certain steps due to its weight and size.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Assemble the Frame: Follow the diagrams to connect the side panels, back panel, and top/bottom panels using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug.
- Install Drawer Slides: Attach the drawer slides to the interior of the dresser frame according to the markings.
- Assemble Drawers: Construct each of the four drawer boxes. Attach the remaining drawer slide components to the sides of each drawer.
- Attach Drawer Pulls: Secure the gold drawer pulls to the front of each drawer using the provided screws.
- Insert Drawers: Carefully slide each assembled drawer into its corresponding slot in the dresser frame.
- Attach Legs: Securely fasten the four legs to the bottom of the dresser.
- Install Wall Anchor Kit: Locate a suitable wall stud and follow the instructions provided with the wall anchor kit to secure the dresser to the wall. This is a critical safety step.

Operating Your Dresser
The Westerleigh 4 Drawer Dresser is designed for smooth and easy operation.
- Opening Drawers: Gently pull the gold handle on each drawer to open. Avoid excessive force.
- Closing Drawers: Push the drawer firmly until it is fully closed and flush with the dresser frame.
- Weight Capacity: The top surface has a weight limit of 50 lbs. Each drawer has a weight limit of 25 lbs. Do not exceed these limits to ensure stability and longevity.

Care and Maintenance

Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your dresser, refer to the following common solutions:
- Drawers are Sticking: Ensure the drawer slides are properly aligned and free of obstructions. Check that the drawer boxes are assembled correctly and not warped.
- Loose Handles: Tighten the screws on the inside of the drawer front that secure the gold pulls.
- Dresser Wobbles: Verify that the dresser is on a level surface. Adjust the legs if they have levelers, or place shims under the legs if needed. Ensure all frame connections are tight.
- Tipping Hazard: If the dresser feels unstable, immediately install the wall anchor kit as instructed in the assembly section.
