2. Safety Information

5. Setup
5.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
5.2 Powering On/Off
To power on the speaker, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator light illuminate. To power off, press and hold the Power button again until the speaker shuts down.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will typically flash rapidly.
- On your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "RCA SP316BTBK" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
6.2 USB/SD Card Playback
The speaker supports audio playback from USB flash drives and SD cards.
- Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port or an SD card into the SD card slot.
- The speaker should automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the Mode button to cycle through input modes until USB/SD mode is selected.
- Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the speaker to manage your music.
6.3 AUX Input
Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
- The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, press the Mode button to cycle through input modes until AUX mode is selected.
- Control playback and volume from your connected device.
6.4 Charging the Speaker
When the battery is low, the speaker may indicate this with an audible prompt or a flashing indicator light. Connect the speaker to a power source using the provided USB charging cable as described in Section 5.1.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
7.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain battery health.
