Setup

1. Inserting SIM and microSD Cards

The Redmi 5A supports dual SIM cards and a dedicated microSD card for expandable storage.

1. Locate the SIM tray on the side of the device.
2. Insert the SIM eject tool into the small hole next to the tray to pop it open.
3. Carefully pull out the SIM tray.
4. Place your Nano-SIM cards into the designated slots (SIM 1 and SIM 2) and the microSD card into its dedicated slot, ensuring the gold contacts face downwards.
5. Gently push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.

2. Charging the Device

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Redmi 5A.

• Connect the USB cable to the charging port at the bottom of the phone.
• Connect the other end of the USB cable to the power adapter.
• Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
