5. Setup
5.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Remove all packaging materials and protective films from the turntable and speakers.
- Place the turntable on a stable, level surface, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and strong vibrations.
- Position the two external speakers on either side of the turntable for optimal stereo sound.
5.2 Connecting the Speakers
- Locate the speaker output terminals on the rear of the turntable unit.
- Connect the provided speaker cables to the corresponding terminals on the turntable and the external speakers. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative).
5.3 Platter and Belt Installation
- Carefully place the platter onto the turntable spindle.
- Locate the drive belt, typically found underneath the platter or separately packaged.
- Stretch the drive belt around the motor pulley and the inner rim of the platter. Refer to the included instruction card for a visual guide if necessary.
- Place the slipmat on top of the platter.
5.4 Stylus Protection Removal
Before first use, carefully remove the protective cap from the stylus (needle) at the end of the tonearm. Be gentle to avoid damaging the stylus.
5.5 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC input jack on the rear of the turntable.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Playing a Record
- Open the dust cover.
- Place a record on the platter, ensuring it is centered. If playing a 45 RPM single, place the 45 RPM adapter on the spindle first.
- Select the correct speed (33 or 45 RPM) using the speed selector switch on the turntable.
- Gently lift the tonearm using the cueing lever.
- Move the tonearm over the desired starting groove of the record.
- Lower the tonearm slowly onto the record using the cueing lever. The record will begin to play.
- Adjust the volume using the volume control knob.
- At the end of the record, the auto-stop feature will automatically stop the platter rotation. Lift the tonearm and return it to its rest.
6.2 Bluetooth Operation
The Lenco LS-300WD can receive audio wirelessly via Bluetooth from compatible devices.
- Ensure the turntable is powered on.
- Switch the turntable to Bluetooth mode (refer to the control panel for the Bluetooth indicator/button). The Bluetooth indicator will typically flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Lenco LS-300WD" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator on the turntable will become solid, and you can now stream audio from your device through the turntable's speakers.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Always unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the dust cover and cabinet surfaces.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
7.2 Stylus Care
- The stylus is delicate. Handle it with extreme care.
