4. Setup

5. Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, clean water up to the desired level, indicated by the markings on the carafe (up to 10 cups). Do not overfill.
6. Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter basket into its designated slot. Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket. For best results, use medium-grind coffee.

5. Operating Instructions

Once set up, follow these steps to brew coffee:

1. Ignite: Press the Instastart push-button ignition. You should hear a click and see a flame. If it doesn't ignite on the first try, wait a few seconds and try again.

2. Brewing: The coffee maker will begin brewing. The PerfectFlow technology ensures consistent performance, even in varying outdoor conditions. A full 10-cup carafe typically brews in about 18 minutes.
3. Pause 'n' Serve: If you need a cup before the brewing cycle is complete, carefully remove the carafe. The Pause 'n' Serve feature will temporarily stop the coffee flow. Replace the carafe within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.
4. Serving: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically shut off. Carefully remove the carafe and serve.
5. Shut Down: After use, ensure the flame is extinguished. Disconnect the propane cylinder when the appliance is cool to the touch and not in use.
