1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing Minetom Globe String Lights. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new string lights. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and operation, and retain them for future reference.

These 33-foot string lights feature 100 warm white LED globe bulbs, designed for both indoor and outdoor decorative applications. They include a remote control for convenient operation of 8 lighting modes and timer functions.

2. Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, follow these basic precautions:

Read all instructions before using the product.
Do not mount or place near gas or electric heaters.
Do not secure the wiring of the product with staples or nails, or place on sharp hooks or tacks.
Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.
Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
This is an electrical product, not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric shock, it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.
Do not use this product for other than its intended use.
Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire, or light string.
Do not close doors or windows on the product or extension cords as this may damage the wire insulation.
Do not cover the product with cloth, paper, or any material not part of the product when in use.

5. Setup Instructions

Unpack the Lights: Carefully remove the string lights, remote control, and power adapter from the packaging. Untangle the string lights gently to avoid damage.
Remote Control Battery: The remote control comes with a CR2025 battery. Before first use, remove the clear insulation sheet from the battery compartment.
Placement: Determine the desired location for your string lights. These lights are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. For outdoor installations, ensure the power adapter is protected from direct rain or excessive moisture, as only the string lights themselves are IP44 waterproof.
Installation:
- Use cable ties, cup hooks, or grippers to secure the string lights in place. Avoid using staples or nails that could damage the wiring.
- Ensure the lights are not placed near heat sources or covered by flammable materials.
- Do not hang heavy objects from the light string.
Connect Power: Plug the string lights into the UL listed power adapter, then plug the adapter into a standard 120V electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

Your Minetom Globe String Lights can be operated using the included remote control or the button on the power adapter.

6.1 Remote Control Functions

Ensure the remote control is pointed towards the IR receiver on the power adapter for optimal functionality. The remote requires a CR2025 battery (included).

ON/OFF: Press to turn the lights on or off.
TIMER: Activates the 6-hour on, 18-hour off cycle. The lights will automatically turn on for 6 hours and then off for 18 hours, repeating daily.
Brightness +/- (DIM+/DIM-): Adjusts the brightness level of the lights.
Mode Selection (1-8): Select from 8 different lighting modes:
1. Combination
2. In Waves
3. Sequential
4. Slo-glo
5. Chasing/Flash
6. Slow Fade
7. Twinkle/Flash
8. Steady On
Memory Function: The lights will remember the last selected mode when turned off and back on.

6.2 Power Adapter Button

The button on the power adapter can also be used to cycle through the 8 lighting modes. Press the button repeatedly to change modes. It also has a timer function: press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the 6-hour on/18-hour off timer (green light indicates timer is active).

7. Maintenance

Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the bulbs and wires gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Storage: When not in use for extended periods, carefully coil the string lights and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid tangling the wires.
Bulb Replacement: The LED bulbs are integrated and not designed for user replacement.
Remote Battery Replacement: If the remote control's range decreases or it stops responding, replace the CR2025 battery. Open the battery compartment as shown in the remote diagram.

8. Troubleshooting

9. Warranty and Support

Minetom provides a 1-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material faults under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or improper installation.
