Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Cause / Solution
Radio does not power on.
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the radio to a power source using the USB cable.
  • Confirm you are performing a long press on the POWER/MUTE button to power on, not a short press which may activate sleep mode.
  • Check if the HOLD switch is in the 'Unlock' position.
Poor reception or static.
  • Ensure headphones are fully plugged into the headphone jack, as they act as the external antenna.
  • Try repositioning the radio or moving to an area with better signal.
  • For AM, the internal ferrite bar antenna is directional; try rotating the radio for better reception.
Buttons are unresponsive.
  • Check if the HOLD switch is in the 'Lock' position. Slide it to 'Unlock'.
  • If the radio is frozen, try powering it off and on again (long press POWER/MUTE).
Battery drains quickly.
  • Ensure the radio is fully powered off (long press POWER/MUTE) when not in use, not just in sleep mode.
  • Battery performance can degrade over time with repeated charge cycles.
