4. Product Overview

4.1 Front Panel Controls and Display

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the radio on or off.
• Light Switch (OFF/ON): Controls the integrated LED lighting.
• Memory Preset Buttons (1-5): Store and recall your favorite FM radio stations.

• Volume Buttons (+/-): Adjust the audio output level.
• SCAN (ST/MONO): Automatically scans for FM stations. Press and hold for stereo/mono toggle.
• MIN / SEC: Used for setting the clock and timer functions.
• MEM: Used to store radio stations into memory presets.
• TIMER: Activates or deactivates the timer function.
• CLOCK SET: Initiates the clock setting mode.

• Power Input: Connect the supplied AC power cable here.
• Integrated FM Antenna: A wire antenna for FM reception. Extend it fully for best reception.

5. Setup

5.1 Mounting the Radio

The Lenco KCR-11 is designed for under-cabinet mounting. Use the provided mounting kit for installation.

1. Choose a suitable location under a cabinet, ensuring sufficient space for the radio and access to a power outlet.
2. Use the mounting template (if provided, otherwise measure carefully) to mark the screw positions on the underside of the cabinet.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
4. Insert the plastic spacers (if applicable) and then secure the radio to the cabinet using the supplied screws. Ensure the radio is firmly attached.

5.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the AC power cable to the power input on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard wall outlet.
3. Extend the integrated FM antenna wire for optimal radio reception.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the Power button (⏻) to turn the radio on or off.

6.2 Setting the Clock

1. With the radio powered on, press and hold the CLOCK SET button until the time display flashes.
2. Use the MIN and SEC buttons to adjust the hours and minutes respectively.
3. Press CLOCK SET again to confirm and exit the clock setting mode.

6.3 Tuning FM Radio

Automatic Scan:

Press the SCAN button. The radio will automatically scan for available FM stations and stop at the next strong signal.

Manual Tuning:

Use the MIN and SEC buttons to fine-tune the frequency step by step.

Stereo/Mono Mode:

Press and hold the SCAN (ST/MONO) button to toggle between stereo and mono reception. Mono reception can improve clarity for weak signals.

6.4 Saving and Recalling Presets

To Save a Station:

1. Tune to the desired FM station.
2. Press the MEM button. The display will show a flashing preset number (e.g., P1).
3. Press one of the Memory Preset Buttons (1-5) to save the station to that preset number.

To Recall a Station:

Simply press the corresponding Memory Preset Button (1-5) to instantly tune to the saved station.

6.5 Using the Timer Function

1. Press the TIMER button. The timer display will flash.
2. Use the MIN and SEC buttons to set the desired countdown time.
3. Press TIMER again to start the countdown. The radio will turn off automatically when the timer reaches zero.
4. To cancel the timer, press TIMER during the countdown.

6.6 Adjusting Volume

Press the Volume + button to increase the volume or the Volume - button to decrease it.

6.7 LED Light

Slide the Light Switch (OFF/ON) to turn the integrated LED lighting on or off.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

• Always unplug the radio from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
