Setup Guide

  1. Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the STC-1000Pro controller, temperature sensor, and power outlets from the packaging.
  2. Mounting (Optional): The controller features a hanging tab for convenient mounting. Secure it in a suitable location near your heating/cooling equipment.

  3. Connect the Sensor: Plug the temperature sensor into the designated port on the controller. Ensure the sensor is placed in the environment where temperature needs to be monitored and controlled.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the controller's power cord into a standard 110V AC power outlet.
  5. Connect Appliances:
    • Plug your heating device (e.g., heater, heat lamp) into the "HEATING" outlet.
    • Plug your cooling device (e.g., fan, chiller) into the "COOLING" outlet.

  6. Initial Power On: The LCD screen will illuminate, displaying the current temperature (PV) and set value (SV).
  7. App Connection (Optional for Wi-Fi models): If you have a Wi-Fi enabled model, you can connect it to the Elitech iCold app for remote monitoring and control.

Operation

Setting Temperature Parameters

The STC-1000Pro allows you to set desired temperature values and control various operational parameters.

  1. Enter Setting Mode: Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds until the display changes to show parameter codes.

  2. Navigate Parameters: Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to scroll through different parameter codes (e.g., TS for temperature setpoint, CD for cooling differential).
  3. Adjust Parameter Value: Once the desired parameter code is displayed, press the SET button to view its current value. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) buttons to adjust the value.
  4. Save and Exit: Press the SET button again to save the new value and move to the next parameter. To exit the setting mode, press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds.

Specific Settings

  • Temperature Calibration: If the displayed temperature is inaccurate, you can calibrate it. Refer to the full user manual for detailed steps on temperature calibration.
  • Keeping Display On (BL=0): To ensure the display remains on continuously, adjust the 'BL' parameter to 0.
