The aluminum grease filter should be cleaned regularly (approximately every 3-4 weeks, depending on usage) to maintain optimal performance and prevent fire hazards.
- Switch off the extractor hood and disconnect it from the power supply.
- Locate the release catches on the grease filter.
- Press the catches and carefully remove the filter.
- Clean the filter by hand with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher. Ensure it is completely dry before re-inserting.
- Re-insert the filter, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

If your hood is operating in recirculation mode, the activated carbon filter (e.g., DWZ0NA0 or DWZ0IN0) needs to be replaced periodically (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage). Follow the instructions provided with the carbon filter for replacement.
6.3 Cleaning the Exterior
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads, especially on stainless steel surfaces.
