4. Setup
4.1. Inserting SIM Cards
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
- Insert the provided SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and press gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM cards into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down and the cut corner aligns correctly. The OPPO Find X supports dual Nano-SIM cards.
- Carefully reinsert the SIM card tray into the phone until it clicks into place.
4.2. Initial Power On and Setup
- Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the OPPO logo appears.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process. This includes selecting your language, connecting to a Wi-Fi network, setting up your Google account, and configuring security features like fingerprint or face unlock.
4.3. Charging the Device
To charge your OPPO Find X:
- Connect the Micro USB cable to the charging port at the bottom of your phone.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen. Use only OPPO-approved chargers and cables for optimal performance and safety.
5. Operating Your Device
5.1. Basic Navigation
- Touch: Tap an icon to open an app or select an item.
- Swipe: Drag your finger across the screen to scroll, switch screens, or dismiss notifications.
- Pinch: Use two fingers to zoom in or out on photos and web pages.
- Long Press: Press and hold an item for more options or to move it.
5.2. Making Calls and Sending Messages
- Calls: Open the Phone app, enter the number, and tap the call icon.
- Messages: Open the Messages app, tap the new message icon, enter the recipient and your message, then tap send.

The OPPO Find X features an innovative pop-up camera module. When you open the camera app, the module will automatically rise. When you exit the app, it will retract.
- Open the Camera app from your home screen or app drawer.
- Select your desired mode (Photo, Video, Portrait, etc.).
- Tap the shutter button to capture a photo or start/stop recording a video.
- To switch between front and rear cameras, tap the camera switch icon.
5.4. Connectivity
- Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi, turn Wi-Fi on, and select your network.
- Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Bluetooth, turn Bluetooth on, and pair with desired devices.
