- Close Propane Tank Valve: After cooking, always close the valve on your propane tank.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure your stove remains in optimal condition.
- Tempered Glass Top: The tempered glass surface is very easy to clean. Allow the stove to cool completely before wiping with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the surface.
- Burner Grates and Caps: These components can be removed for cleaning. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before reassembling.
- General Cleaning: Keep the entire unit clean and free from food debris and grease buildup.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your stove, refer to the following common solutions:
- Burner Not Igniting:
- Ensure the propane tank valve is fully open.
- Check that the gas hose is securely connected to both the stove and the propane tank.
- Verify that the burner air intake pieces are correctly positioned and touching the black part of the burner assembly. Misalignment can prevent proper gas flow and ignition.
- Irregular Flame:
- Check for any obstructions in the burner ports.
- Ensure the burner components (cap, crown, grate) are correctly seated.
If problems persist after checking these points, please contact Prolinemax customer support.
